HEAR ME OUT!

MANUEL ARTHUR MACHETE

Commendatory passage

Empowering the rights of the Filipinos is what this country needs to achieve equity and not equality – someone that will oppose what is wrong and support what is right.

It is factual that any person who will be a member of the senate must be knowledgeable enough about the issues that is present in the populace.

Especially, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) plays a big role to attain peace and unity in the long run – which requires a dependable and worth it individual for the betterment of the organization.

Given the status quo that many citizens are anti-Duterte, which the incoming DSWD secretary Prof. Judy Taguiwalo is pro to this. But her reaction in a way of proving herself in the issue that she does not deserve to be in the position, is a strong point for her to be considered eligible.

Firstly, her argument of strengthening the function and framework of the organization is basically a leverage for the people under its supervision.

It is because the constitution and by-laws will be more systematic in terms of disciplining and imposing programs that will benefit the general public, be it locally and nationally.

If this will be the case, then the people would worry no more of the noise in the environment, rehabilitation will be more ratified, and the orphans will not feel loneliness anymore.

Furthermore, she aforesaid to be functional in the society.

This serves as something that the people would blend into, wherein every move for enhancement proposals will be critiqued by the public, and sooner or later everyone, will able to participate for the success that would happen.

Even if there is still no assurance for her aim, she must be aware of the huge burden at her back, and once she failed, it will be a great disappointment. Thus, she must be able to uphold the democratic essence of this state.

Vaxxstabbers

In light of recent events regarding the dengue being en epedemic in the country, it is only our duty to strive qnd to educate people towards a better and safer life by providing them factual information. The challenge we are facing right now is how to educate people about this.

Although this might seem promising, we cannot deny the fact that the Philippines' situation integrating these changes will be difficult.

Now is the perfect time that the government do something about it, especially now that the situation tell us that we should do so. Because of the public uproar caused by the public due to Dengvaxia, citizens are afraid to vaccinate children and the rise of anti-vaxers are nothing but powerful. Recently the Department of Health reported a 10 year old girl died of diptheria, a disease we haven't seen in decades.

In our times today, disease that are disintegrated from atleast the beginning of the century has resurfaced once more. Measles, polio, and now diptheria. Lets not also forget about the dengue and african swine fever outbreak that happened and is currently spreading not only in our country but in the South East Asia.

These outbreaks are something to be treated seriously with. Not only these things stain the inage of the country but, this also harms our country in every single way. It defies the main responsibility of the government-to serve the people.

It is only right and just for the government to make an action. Are simply barangay initiatives enough for long-rmterm situation? Yes, it is better than nothing, but that is not the point. The government should bring back Dengvaxia and impose a harder rule on integrating vaccinations in the country.
