The Department of Education (DepED) implemented their orders in Quezon National High School relating to foods that are being served at the school canteen last August 8, 2017. ​

 

This include the DepED order No. 85. 2007 pertaining to management of school canteen, DepED Order No. 13 s. 2019 referring to healthy food and beverage that should be served and DepED order No. 10 s. 2016 which is about the guidelines for water and school hygiene. ​

 

Moreover, nutritious food are the only ones that is allowed to be served and the beverages that will not pass the Bureau of Food and Beverages approval is prohibited.  ​

 

The foods that will be served are categorized into three: the green, the yellow and the red category. ​
